Challenge: Revitalize a stagnant international business built upon individual efforts of acquired product lines.

Solution: Repositioned business as successful vendor in high-growth segments.
- Analyzed current business - largely from Europe, then characterized by low growth and entrenched competitors - and identified growth market - Asia, then characterized by major new broadcasting initiatives and few dominant suppliers.
- Created an international operating company encompassing sales, marketing and service of all product lines in order to meet needs of large, high-value customers.
- Re-energized Asia-Pacific operations, including the replacement of legacy manager with motivated rainmaker and the introduction of Chinese-language products
- Grew Asia-Pacific revenues 5X in two years, becoming supplier to major new regional broadcasters like Star TV
- Launched South American initiative to follow Asia-Pacific model
